Stunning new build in Cobham’s conservation area

Extra care was taken from the very outset with the design of this new build property; it’s located within an area of natural beauty and it was vital that it blended sympathetically with its surroundings.  We worked carefully with the owners, the planning authorities and our architect to design a house which would meet our clients’ needs but would not look out of place in the area.  Having obtained all necessary planning permissions, we cleared the site and began to build.  The project ran to schedule, despite some challenging weather conditions, and was completed in late March 2020.

The house is split over 4 floors and required extensive excavation work to create basement accommodation which includes a large gym.  The garden was beautifully landscaped and the glass doors at the back of the house open fully to give a great sense of the indoors extending out into the beautiful garden.  The finished house is fully equipped with the latest security and home automation technology, yet it retains a ‘cottage feel’ so it sits happily within its setting.  This is a perfect mix of cutting-edge facilities within a traditional-style design.
